		<description>Hi Unsure,

It is a hereditary disease, where the patient is intolerant to gluten(Wheat, Barley and Rye)

The immune system responds to gluten by damaging the lining of the small intestine.

This lining has little finger like things called villi.

Villi absorbs the nutrients from our food, so if the villi are damaged the body cannot get the nutrients it needs.

It causes abdominal pain, anaemia, malnutrition, infertility, skin rash.

Symptoms include gas, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, tiredness, mood swings, weight loss, itchy skin with rash which blisters, slowing of growth in children.

Hope this helps.

Love Mel.X</description>
