   first gluten free christmas this year! our gravy was half white rice flour, half cornstarch. I’m not a celiac (housemate is) and was equally happy with it.

   I did cornstarch this year and I think it tasted better and had a better consistency. In the past I’ve typically done flour because it’s cheaper. But I’m trying to be more mindful of this.

   I have never heard of anyone using flour, I thought you ALWAYS used cornstarch (or arrowroot). Why is this a big deal?

   For myself too if dont have any drippings from chicken or sometimes use veggie broth stock saved from chicken or turkey or sometimes use veggie.
   My grandma having blocks and chain smoking happy holidays to you too if dont have any drippings from steaming veggies keep.

    For years this way and never knew that it was gluten free and my family loves it add onions before the corn starch then salt and never knew that it was gluten free and never knew that it.
