It is not unusual for doctors to misdiagnose intestinal problems. In fact, doctors are still recommending antacids that are destroying the body’s ability to digest food because of their lack of understanding how the body works or they are simply just taking the drug company’s rep’s advice and perks.
Gassy is not normal. Gassy is due to methane gas being produced from undigested food. You need to look at the “root cause” of the problem, not trying to just treat symptoms.
You can determine if you have a glutten intollerance in a few minutes yourself without going to a doctor to have him guess if you do. A simple Coca’s Pulse Test will do that. Sit in a chair for about 5 minutes and relax to stabilize your pulse rate. Check your pulse for a minute and then check it again. If it is the same, you are ready to take the test. Make a note of the pulse rate you just took. Make sure it is for the full 60 seconds and not the 15 second, multiply by 4 thing. Now put some food that you want to test in your mouth and chew it for about 30 seconds. Keep it in your mouth and take your pulse for the full 60 seconds again. If the pulse rate increases over 6 pulse points, you have an allergy or food sensitivity to that substance. If your pulse rate is the same, you do not have the problem. Now you know and are not “guessing.”
In regard to the gas situation, you need to make sure you are producing enough stomach acid. If you get plaque on your teeth, you are not producing enough. The best way to know if this is the case, you can be tested by a Certified Nutritional Therapist and know in a few minutes. As we age, we produce less and less stomach acid and by eating cooked foods, this uses up what little acid is being produced rapidly, leaving the pH of the stomach, not low enough to digest your food properly. The pH of the stomach must reach 1.5 to 3.0 pH in order to properly digest your food. If it doesn’t, you will start getting stored fat build up around your waste if you are man and around thighs and hips if a woman, typically around 28 years old is when the decline in stomach acid starts happening. By the time you are 70, you will only be producing about less than 5% of what you did at 25. Basically, you starve to death as you age. When the food sits in your stomach and is not digested well, it produces LACTIC ACID and that is where indigestion happens. Then this putrefying, rotting, disgusting mass starts fermenting and produces METHANE gas. This causes pressure to build because the stomach holds onto this disgusting mess until the pH lowers. This pressure causes the cardio sphincter to open and wha la, Acid Reflux (into the esophagus). But, the pyloric sphincter gets tired and allows the fermenting, disgusting chyme to slowly seep into the small intestines where the cells are supposed to send a hormone to the pancreas causing it to release bicarbonate and other digestive enzymes, like pancreatic amylase, etc. to digest the chyme. Since the pH is not low enough, this doesn’t happen and now you’ve got a real disgusting mess that is thowing off toxins and gas.
What do doctors recommend for this? Antacids. YUK! That just makes you feel better, but then comes the real treatment, constipation and diarrhea, depending on the flavor of the month toxin because not only is the LACTIC ACID that is causing the indigestion, but the Stomach Acid that could solve the problem. BINGO.
To solve your problem, I suggest you do the following:
Go to: (800) 370 - 3447 and order the following products and you will be amazed at how better you feel, the added energy, and also will lose some weight around the waste and extend your life expectancy.
Betaine HCL — Take 3 of these AFTER each meal, if you are over 150 pounds, take 4.
HCL Activator — Take 1 for each 2 of the Betaine you take AFTER each meal.
Digest — Take 1 of these DURING the meal or 2 if you eat meat with the meal.
Probiotic — Take 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening.
Now, for 4 months, do the following to get rid of the debris that has built up over the years. Get the CLEANSE BLEND and this will very gently remove that debris. Take 5 in the morning and 5 in the evening for the 4 months.
Then I suggest you have a talk with that physician and let him know how easily you solved your problem.
good luck to you
Celiac Disease Gluten
If the physician who diagnosed you was a PCP-General or Internal Medicine physician than you need to see a gastroenterologist. There are other intestinal diseases and disorders. I would first get a confirmation regarding the Celiac Disease Diagnosis. Most physicians would not simply go by serum blood results alone. They should also run a complete nutritional analysis, and have you complete a diary of foods that are irritable to your system, and the results following. Fiber is necessary to bulk up the stool, you can get it by increasing it through diet or by supplemental methods. Preventative measures are the single most important change you can do for your health. Personally, I use alternative and traditional therapies. There is a place for both and often both are necessary.
Celiac Support Group
If you have had a t-TG and an IgG and an IgA and they came back positive, it is most likely that you have celiac disease. You now need to go to a gastroenterologist.
DO NOT START EATING GLUTEN!!! I can not stress this enough!
Have you been tested for lactose, casein, dairy, nightshade, soy intolerance as well? You epecially should not have ANY dairy products for at least 8 months. Lactase (the enzyme that breaks down lactose) is produced at the tips of the villi, which you do not have right now because your white blood cells destroyed them when you ate gluten, as they are doing right now because you went off the diet. THAT is probably the reason for your gassiness. Lactose is most probably fermenting in your large intestine and making you gassy.
You need to go see a gastroenterologist, which you should have been refered to in the first place.
I want you to go to this website:
Some people are totally asymptomatic about their disease until they turn up anaemic, with osteoporosis, or intestinal cancer, and then they find out. This disease is nothing to be messed with, and EVERY SINGLE First degree relative in your family MUST be tested for celiac as well (parents and siblings). Stop messing with your life and your health and get yourself to the proper doctor asap as this guy doesn’t seem to know what he is doing.
I meant to THUMBSDOWN the first answerer. He is messing with something that he does not understand. No cleansing or vitamin routine is going to “cure” you. You need an endoscopy and a hydrogen breath test. PLEASE do NOT take that advice because it is what you want to hear. That is horribly dangerous advice, he does not have to live with the long term consequences of handing it out, YOU are the one who is going to suffer in the long run. PLEASE get yourself to a gastroenterologist as soon as you can!!!
p.s. You probably have celiac, lactose intolerance, and irritable bowel at this moment because your villi have not had a chance to grow back yet. It takes about 8 months. PLEASE do not listen to that first poster, PLEASE!!!!
Edit: Afro, there is a blood test, please see above. Go to the celiac.org or celaic.com site, you REALLY need to educate yourself further about your condition!
Also, it is an endoscopy, where they insert and endoscope through your mouth, a colonoscopy is the one that looks at you colon and they enter through your anus, NOT the one you should be getting, asker! The biopsy or sample is not from your stomach, but from your duodenum and your small intestine. And, it is NOT an allergy (which is a histamine reaction) , it is an INTOLERANCE, which indicated an autoimmune reaction. Please learn more about your disease, what you don’t know CAN KILL YOU!

No offense, but to me, it sounds like this doctor is not professional. In order for a doctor to label you and prove to you that you defnitly have coeliac disease, you have to have a gastroscopy done. A gastroscopy is minor surgery wher you are put to sleep, and a small tube with a camera on the end is inserted into your mouth or backside. the camera is able to view your insides and actually determine whether or not there is damage to the lining of the stomach. In some cases, they will also collect a sample from your stomach. If i were you, i would go to a different doctor and explain the whole story to him, i can almost guarantee that he will direct you to have a gastroscopy done to determine if you are a coeliac or not. There is no such thing as a blood test being able to show that you are gluten intolerant, as far as i know. When i was diagnosed with coeliac disease, 8 years ago, my doc noticed from my blood test that i was very very anaemic. He then organised for me to have the gastroscopy done, which proved that i was gluten intolerant. You might not be gluten intolerant. Find out from a proffesional who knows what he is doing. Why deprive yourself of something that you might not be allergic to at all. Good luck.
