I tend to want to agree with the “moron” comment, but really their just uneducated, illequipped and ignorant of what Celiac’s is.
Any doctor who says “ah you’re fine, here’s some pills, go home” is just a jerk and really shouldn’t be in the business of being a doctor. Doctors should care…..if not, get out.

Thank you for this!! My 3 year old daughter had the bloated tummy and green smelly explosive bowel movements. Now that she is off gluten she is so much better. She also has a bad reaction to preservatives - she gets horrible leg cramps. Well meaning people slip her a treat, and she is awake at 3am screaming!! Our whole family is gluten free now, and we all feel a lot better. Australia is a bit behind in healthy alternatives, and they are expensive. any advice for a mum who is starting out?
