Thank you for this!! My 3 year old daughter had the bloated tummy and green smelly explosive bowel movements. Now that she is off gluten she is so much better. She also has a bad reaction to preservatives - she gets horrible leg cramps. Well meaning people slip her a treat, and she is awake at 3am screaming!! Our whole family is gluten free now, and we all feel a lot better. Australia is a bit behind in healthy alternatives, and they are expensive. any advice for a mum who is starting out?

You can take fish oil supplements as a anti-inflammatory. You can even find some brands that are free of preservatives and artificial color.

Celiac disease can manifest itself in countless different ways, some of which are quite subtle... the doctor who told her not to worry about her kids is a moron.

My acting teacher has celiac disease, and it took doctors eight years to diagnose him. Apparently all it takes is a simple blood test.
